We collect information you provide when you apply for membership or use Vently, including your name, date of birth, location, Instagram handle, career and education details, profile photo, and invitation code data. We also collect account and device metadata needed for security and service operations.

We use your information to review applications, verify identity and eligibility, operate membership services, support events and community features, improve product quality, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers that process data on our behalf (such as hosting, analytics, payment, messaging, and infrastructure partners), and where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and platform integrity.

4. SMS Messaging Privacy

If you opt in to receive text messages from Vently, we use your mobile number and messaging preference to send membership, event, RSVP, and support-related SMS messages. We do not share text messaging consent information with third parties. We may use service providers that help us deliver messages on our behalf, but your SMS consent choice is not sold or shared for third-party marketing.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide Vently services, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal requirements. We may retain limited records after account closure where necessary for fraud prevention, audit, and compliance.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your information, subject to applicable law. You may also manage communication preferences and certain permissions through your device and account settings. For SMS, you can reply STOP to opt out and reply HELP for help.
